FOXBORO — Foxboro High School administrators are warning parents and families about the dangers of e-cigarettes and other vaping devices — some disguised as thumb drives or other common objects.
Principal Diana Myers-Pachla and assistant principals Beth Sylvia and David Pierce emailed parents about the rise of vaping and a practice called “juuling” using a vaping device disguised as a mundane object.
What studies have shown is that the nicotine used in e-cigarettes is highly addictive. This fact alone is of major concern as studies also show that the teenage brain is still developing and is highly susceptible to addiction.
